Privacy and Data
Last updated: October 2026
Schools trust us with their teachers' time. We take that seriously, and we want our practices to be easy to understand.
Information you send through this website
When you use a form on this site, we collect what you type: usually your name, email, role, school or organization, and your message. Forms are processed by our website host, Netlify. We use this information only to respond to you, send the resource you asked for, and occasionally share helpful updates. You can ask to be removed at any time.
We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
Student privacy
- No student data required. Tangi Teacher and our workshops are designed so teachers never need to enter student names, grades or other personal information.
- We teach safe habits. Every workshop covers what not to share with AI and how to use placeholders like [Student].
- We support your obligations. We respect schools' responsibilities under FERPA and Louisiana student privacy law.
- Data privacy agreements. We're glad to review and sign your district's student data privacy agreement before any work begins.
How the Tangi Teacher app uses AI
Tangi Teacher sends the text a teacher types into a tool to an AI provider to create the result. We choose providers whose business terms do not use customer inputs to train their models by default. We do not build profiles of teachers or students.
